On Friday 27 March, the Belgian National Safety Council has decided to prolong the additional measures that were implemented on 18 March, until Sunday 19 April included (with an option to prolong again until 3 May included). However, this prolongation doesn't have an influence on the assurance of our continued service:

  • As a company Primoris forms part of the essential sector that needs to ensure the vital food supply during this corona crisis. Our lab stays operational to assure food safety on a daily basis.
  • The stricter measures do not impact the transport or delivery of samples to our laboratory.
  • Our customer service and our market managers remain at your service.

If the Belgian National Safety Council should decide on other measures, we will of course inform you about the impact of these measures on our activities.

Dear relation,

On 17 March, the Belgian National Safety Council has decided on additional measures, which will be implemented as of 18 March at noon. Due to these stricter measures, we would like to assure you that we are taking all possible steps to ensure a continued service. As a company Primoris forms part of the essential sector that needs to ensure the vital food supply during this corona crisis. The flexibility of our employees allows us to guarantee food safety on a daily basis and helps us provide a steady stream of foodstuffs to supermarkets and the final consumers.

These stricter measures do not impact the transport or delivery of samples to our laboratory. Additionally, we have taken internal measures in order to keep offering service with the highest possible reliability:

  • Employees whose physical presence in the lab is essential, must adhere to strict hygienic measures
  • Working from home is mandatory for employees whose physical presence in in the lab is not required
  • All external meetings or meetings with third parties in the lab are cancelled for an indefinite period or are held via tele or videoconference

We are facing an exceptionally challenging situation, but we will do anything in our power to keep ensuring food safety together with our employees and our stakeholders.

Dear relation,


Following the latest decisions of the Belgian National Security Council on Thursday 12 March in order to battle the Corona virus, we wish to inform you that we are taking all the necessary steps to ensure as much as possible service continuity. As an important service provider in the food industry, we have a societal responsibility to fulfill and we will take our responsibility to the fullest in these challenging times to assure our activities.

The new national measures don’t have an impact on the transport and delivery of samples to our laboratory. This together with the implementation of our internal service continuity measures, will allow us to maintain the highest possible level of reliability of our services.

We will continue to monitor the evolution of this crisis and will keep you informed of any future developments.
