Method updates: substantial expansion of our mycotoxin scope


On August 21sth, we've launched two big method expansions, important for customers that need high quality analyses on mycotoxins and plant toxins:

 

Fipronil crisis: additional specific short analysis method


Following the actual fipronil crisis, the past few weeks we’ve been working hard on an additional quick individual method for customers that are only interested in the fipronil compound. This extra accredited method, carrying the new method code [FIP_01_A] is available since Thursday September 7th.

Official ISO 14001:2004-certification for Primoris Belgium

We are convinced that we all have to make an effort to face the current environmental challenges. Recently our environmental management system has been officially certified by LRQA for the ISO 14001:2004 standard.

Method update: accredited pesticide analyses on bees, beeswax, pollen and beebread

Following the current issue concerning the possible presence of neonicotinoids in bees and apicultural products, we saw an increasing interest in analyses of insecticides in amongst others bees, beeswax, honey, pollen and beebread.

Service: beneficial sample collection offer for our customers

Primoris has a collaboration with the door to door transport company TNT to enable our customers to deliver samples at our lab in Zwijnaarde (BE) at beneficial pricing conditions. This service is available for all our customers in Belgium and the Netherlands.

Update European legislation

On September 25th, we’ve updated the recent changes in the European legislation on our website. Every two weeks we renew the list and you find there all changes that have been activated since two months.

Quality: overview ring tests

As part of ensuring a constant quality control and -improvement, Primoris takes part in many national and international ring tests. These are independent checks on the quality of laboratory analysis.

Official holidays and reachability during road works

The following months, Primoris Belgium is only closed on the official Belgian holidays:

  • Wednesday 1 November – All Saints Day
  • Monday 25 December – Christmas
  • Monday 1 January 2018 – New Year

We recommend that you contact our customer care department or your regular contact to look into the following-up of your samples during these two holidays.

Reachability Belgian lab during road works 18 September – end October

If you need to deliver samples at our Belgian lab in Zwijnaarde (Ghent), please take into account the current road works on the roads Tramstraat and A. Della Faillelaan (N469).
